Privacy Policy

Last updated

This policy explains what information Pull House LLC collects when you visit the SwiftUIBase website or purchase the kit, and how we use it.

1. Who we are

SwiftUIBase is operated by Pull House LLC (“Pull House”, “we”, “us”), a limited-liability company registered in [JURISDICTION], United States. We sell to customers worldwide. Reach us at swiftuibase@pull.house.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide

  • Email address — when you subscribe to launch updates or contact support.
  • Payment information — handled directly by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not see or store full card numbers; we receive a transaction confirmation, the last four digits of your card, and your billing email.
  • GitHub username — required to send you a private repository invitation after purchase.
  • Support correspondence — messages, attachments, and metadata associated with your support requests.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Usage data — pages visited, referrer, browser type, approximate location (derived from IP), and timestamps. Used in aggregate to understand which content is useful.
  • Cookies — see Section 6.

2.3 What we do not collect

The SwiftUIBase kit, once installed in your own iOS app, runs entirely on your infrastructure. We do not receive analytics, telemetry, crash reports, or any other data from your end users. Anything the kit collects from your users is governed by your privacy policy, not this one.

3. How we use information

  • To deliver the kit (send GitHub invites, onboarding emails).
  • To provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
  • To send transactional emails about your purchase (receipts, refund confirmations).
  • To send launch updates and product news, only if you opted in.
  • To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud and abuse.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

4. Sharing and third parties

We share information with the minimum number of vendors needed to operate the service:

  • Stripe (payment processing) — see stripe.com/privacy.
  • GitHub (repository hosting and invites) — see GitHub privacy statement.
  • Email service provider (transactional + launch updates) — currently a marketing-list provider whose privacy statement is available on request.
  • Hosting and analytics — Firebase Hosting (Google) for serving the marketing site, plus a privacy-respecting analytics tool with IP anonymization.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We disclose information to law enforcement only when compelled by valid legal process.

5. Data retention

  • Purchase records (for tax, accounting, and refund eligibility) — kept for at least 7 years where required by tax law.
  • Support correspondence — kept for 3 years from the last contact.
  • Email subscription data — kept until you unsubscribe; retained for one additional year for unsubscribe-suppression purposes.
  • Anonymous usage analytics — kept for 24 months in aggregate.

6. Cookies

The SwiftUIBase site uses a small number of first-party cookies and local-storage entries needed to remember your theme preference and whether you dismissed the buy bar. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Analytics cookies, where used, are configured for IP anonymization and do not personally identify you.

7. Your rights

Regardless of where you live, you may always:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention obligations such as tax records).
  • Object to or restrict certain types of processing.
  • Export your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.

Depending on your country, you may have additional or stronger rights:

  • EU / EEA (GDPR), United Kingdom (UK GDPR)— full data-subject rights under Articles 15–22, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
  • California (CCPA / CPRA)— right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CPRA.
  • Brazil (LGPD), Canada (PIPEDA), Australia (Privacy Act), Türkiye (KVKK) and similar regimes — comparable rights of access, correction, deletion, and complaint.

To exercise any of these rights, email swiftuibase@pull.house. We respond within 30 days (or your local statutory deadline, whichever is shorter).

8. International transfers

Pull House is based in the United States. Our payment processor (Stripe), code hosting (GitHub), and site hosting (Firebase Hosting) operate globally and may store or process your data in countries other than yours. We rely on the following transfer mechanisms where applicable:

  • European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses (2021/914) and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum for transfers from the EEA and UK.
  • Adequacy decisions where the destination country has been deemed adequate by the relevant authority (e.g. EU–US Data Privacy Framework for participating US providers).
  • Provider-specific protections: Stripe and GitHub maintain their own SCC frameworks and binding corporate rules.

9. Children’s privacy

The SwiftUIBase site and kit are intended for use by software developers and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), restricted access controls, and reputable third-party processors (Stripe, GitHub) with their own security certifications. No system is perfectly secure; you use the site at your own risk.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. The revision date at the top reflects the latest change. Material changes will be announced via the launch updates email if you’re subscribed.
